EVALUATION/PERSONAL Response
IN A WELL-WRITTEN/TYPED, ORGANIZED 7-10 sentence **EVALUATORY/PERSONAL RESPONSE (“I”/“we” are fine) PARAGRAPH, RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTION:
According to Larmer’s article “China’s Cram Schools,” the Chinese government is pushing for reforms in their college-admissions process and the rigorous gaokao testing process, but these efforts have met resistance from some parents. Based on the article **AND USING TWO examples of “text evidence to back up your thoughts,” WHY do YOU believe this parent resistance to reform of the system is happening (Larmer #)? **THINK CRITICALLY ABOUT THIS.
**For example: Consider the article and our discussion about how much some Chinese families sacrifice for their children and how much is riding on this high-stakes exam.
**ALSO BELOW: INCLUDE THIS CORRECTLY-WRITTEN TEXT CITATION AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR RESPONSE, PLEASE
