--MAIN IDEA/central idea of excerpt in first sentence
--proper transitions/transitional elements
--cite at least TWO blended "evidence quotes from the passage" to back up your observations (#).
 
**FOR EXTRA CREDIT!!!! TRY THIS: work into your discussion a reference to the literary element of SUSPENSE to show how this part of the story keeps the reader on the edge of his or her seat!
