According to Larmer’s article “China’s Cram Schools,” the Chinese government is pushing for reforms in their college-admissions process and the rigorous gaokao testing process, but these efforts have met resistance from some parents.  

Based on the article **AND USING TWO examples of “text evidence to back up your thoughts,” WHY do YOU believe this parent resistance to reform of the system is happening (Larmer #)? **THINK CRITICALLY ABOUT THIS ISSUE and use the text and your thoughts to answer the question.
