Now that we have completed reading Into the Wild, given to you in class FRI. 12/13 (NOTES SECTION):
- please complete the reading of the excerpt from Carine McCandless's (Chris' biological sister) memoir, THE WILD TRUTH
- you'll be reading the Forward, Prologue, and Chapters 1 and 2
**TUESDAY 12/13 BE READY FOR:
- a very candid and honest discussion about what you read, and come with your observations and additional thoughts and insights (and qu's!) you may now have (AFTER READING THIS TEXT EXCERPT) regarding Chris and his reasoning for this Alaska journey
- As we finish up DISCUSSION OF INTO THE WILD FINAL CHAPTERS, STAY DILIGENT!!! Ask questions, CONTRIBUTE TO DISCUSSION, and finish up using POST-ITS to help you make connections and keep track of Krakauer's journey through Chris's life

- TUES. 12/17 and WED. 12/18, BE PREPARED FOR ONE LAST IN-CLASS GRADED WRITING/DISCUSSION REGARDING SOMETHING WITH INTO THE WILD (*more info to follow next week)
