• LAST FULL WEEK OF THE SEMESTER!!

• BELL/TESTING SCHEDULE FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK WILL BE POSTED ASAP!

• WE ARE ALMOST TO THE END!!! BUT, PLEASE 'STAY THE COURSE' WITH THESE PAPERS; I WILL HELP YOU ONLY IF YOU WORK HARD AND HELP YOURSELF AS WELL!!!

**Again, PLEASE have your Chromebook or personal laptop with you in class for the rest of the semester as we keep working this week and finish up your [SENIOR] RESEARCH PAPER (SRP), worth 30% of your final course grade!!!

**PLEASE BE IN CLASS ALL THIS WEEK!!!

**BY THE END OF CLASS TUES. 12/11, for a SRP PROGRESS CHECKPOINT GRADE, students should have completed the FOLLOWING TASKS FOR GRADED CHECKPOINT #2 AS OUTLINED DAILY IN CLASS and placed in their folders and/or shared w/me via Google Docs for assessment:

**ALSO, RE: each of the minimum TOTAL THREE SOURCES, make sure they are all READ/HIGHLIGHTED for their SRP COMPLETION! (as one FINAL CHECK AGAIN FROM SRP CKPT#1)

• FOR EACH OF THEIR WEB/ONLINE (*at least TWO) sources BASIC 8th ed. MLA CITATIONS WRITTEN OUT for practice on each source somewhere (CKPT#1 INTO CKPT#2 COMPLETION)

• FOR THEIR ONE PRINT SOURCE GIVEN TO THEM BY ME IN THEIR FOLDER for their SRP PRINTED/placed in their provided folders: BASIC 8th ed. MLA CITATIONS WRITTEN OUT for practice on each source somewhere (CKPT#1 INTO CKPT#2 COMPLETION)

• 75-100% completed typing IN THE SHARED ____SRP DOCUMENT the SRP TOPIC MEMO w/THESIS STATEMENT (**to be completed w/my help in class) on the SRP SHARED DOCUMENT

• completed typing the SRP TOPIC MEMO w/THESIS STATEMENT COMPLETED (**met w/them each MON. 12/10 and TUES. 12/11 in class RE: THESIS STATEMENT agreed upon and typed into SRP MEMO) on the SRP SHARED DOCUMENT

**LOOKING TOWARD CHECKPOINT #3: after completing CKPT#2, they can go ahead and get started on and well into working on completing CORRECTLY/ACCURATELY THE ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY of their min. THREE SOURCES on the SRP SHARED DOCUMENT IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING the memo

**at this point after completion of CHECKPOINT #2, they are ready to be introduced to/start on SRP CKPT #3 which consists SOLEY OF THE ACCURATE COMPLETION OF THE SRP SOURCE ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY which will be typed on the SRP document immediately AFTER the memo, and students will be given MANY models/student past samples of the annotated bib. and what it should be/look like

1) **Tomorrow we'll continue with the NOTES/PACKET for "CRITICAL THINKING READING/WRITING STRATEGIES" you were given today (NOTES section)

• BE HERE, and EXPECT to begin ONE LAST FINAL (graded) ASSIGNMENT tomorrow in class regarding this packet of strategies
• And please bring your CLASS BINDER--you'll be able to use it and some resources you have (TBA) to complete this assignment!!

FINAL BINDER WRITING SECTION CHECK #3

• this is for a LAST WRITING SECTION MAJOR, FORMAL (and easy!) grade

• required 'items/assignments/JOURNALS' for 11/6 thru 12/3 displayed on list at front of the room (*8 TOTAL ITEMS*)

--the grade you earn on this FINAL CHECK #3 is for organization, completion, and making sure NO OTHER ITEMS are in this section of your binder!! NO EXCEPTIONS!
