**REMINDERS FOR WED. 10/10 SCHOOL-WIDE TESTING DAY **REMINDERS FOR/HW DUE THURS. 10/11**

**REMINDER: SCHOOL-WIDE "CRAZY TESTING DAY" WED. 10/10**

--JUNIOR/SENIORS know where to report WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR THE SAT/ASVAB and/or **SENIORS** who are visiting a college know what to bring back in order to have an EXCUSED ABSENCE!

1) If not already, I'll be returning your GRADED ASaxon Summary EXT. PARA. as well as GRADED QUIZ #2 ASAP!

2) In class Thursday 10/11, we'll be completing the SECOND/LAST of TWO official ACT PRACTICE *TIMED* WRITING PROMPT RESPONSES

--AGAIN more info/overview of how to respond (*AUDIENCE/PURPOSE/CONTEXT*) AND IMPROVE YOUR RESPONSES FROM THE FIRST TIME (Tuesday) in class THURSDAY before you write

--ALSO: here's a link to the ACT WRITING PRACTICE page with sample/model responses which earned a *score of 5 or 6 (a 10-12 TOTAL SCORE):

FYI ALL/**LAST CHANCE THIS WEEK!!!!**: for anyone interested, you can earn an EXTRA CREDIT 100% for 'formally' using **'post-it notes/notations' for our entire reading of THE ROAD over the next couple weeks; **MORE DETAILED INFO TBA in class!
