In OGE pp. 245-46, read Queen Elizabeth I: "Speech to the Troops at Tilbury" (AND THE BACKGROUND/INTRO INFO)
*after reading, use Question #1 at the end of the text and ON PAPER IN YOUR BINDER (put with the question you answered for Orwell--I WILL LOOK AT THIS!) COMPARE her speech to either ONE of the following from WAR PACKET #1 (in your 'SUPPLEMENTAL' section):

a) General Eisenhower's "Message to Invasion Troops"
b) Cataline, Speech to troops  

**LOOK FOR:
--similarities/differences in textual features (repetition, tone, parallel structure, etc) and BE READY FOR DISCUSSION IN CLASS!
