Read the following TWO supplemental texts given to you in class today: 
--from "What Is Poverty?" 
--Alexi "Superman and Me"

**In class THURSDAY, your entire INDIVIDUAL DAILY GRADE will be based upon your class discussion of these two texts 
**I will open up the discussion of each text with a starting point, and then EVERYONE will be expected to contribute to the in-class discussion, each of you using one another's points/responses as a 'springboard' for more comments
 **Come to class with some valid "text-based" point/comparison to previous texts or themes/analysis/viewpoint/clarification, AND NOT JUST MERELY A SUMMARY OF THE TEXT!!!!!!!
