--RESEARCH THE SONG LYRICS OF THE PARTICULAR SONG YOU WERE ASSIGNED TODAY IN TERMS OF ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE SPIRIT OF ‘PROTEST’ AGAINST WAR AND OTHER INJUSTICES
--RHETORICALLY EXAMINE/ANALYZE THE SONG JUST AS YOU WOULD ANY OTHER 'WRITTEN' TEXT FROM CLASS
--giving a brief history of their assigned song AND the artist (especially in relation to this particular song's themes), including any interesting 'facts' and/or side-notes about the song/artist
--a 'general' overview of the 'gist' of the song and its meaning/overall tone
--analysis of the song's lyrics for the MAJOR RHETORICAL APPEAL(s) and TWO OR THREE LITERARY/LANGUAGE DEVICES/TERMS that show "HOW" this appeal works within the lyrics
