***CONGRATULATIONS to those of you who read the instructions left for you today and checked this HW blog!  YOU NOW HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET AN EXTRA 100% (extra credit) if you will do the following:

1) Look at SAT JOURNAL #5
2) DEFINE and give the PART OF SPEECH for the FOUR WORDS for #5
3) WRITE A CREATIVE SENTENCE USING EACH OF THE FOUR WORDS CORRECTLY; follow the PROMPT about your 'favorite (or LEAST favorite!) food' to help create your sentences. AGAIN: JUST A SENTENCE FOR EACH WORD IS ALL!!!
4) Bring your SAT JOURNAL tomorrow to class with this completed and you will receive your extra credit!

--make sure GRAMMAR WKBK two pages on "PARALLELISM" are complete 
--complete practice sheet #s 1-8 on "SHIFTS IN TENSE/PERSON" ('Grammar/DGP' section of your binder)

**have your TWO practice GRAMMAR 'PRE/POST TESTS' from class today COMPLETED and ready to check in class tomorrow FOR A GRADE!
