Autumn in Southwest Michigan
Fall starts much earlier in Southwestern Michigan, apparently. And, although I enjoyed my trip to the "flat land of 1,000,000,000 corn stalks," loved visiting with Jon's family, had farm-fresh eggs and produce every morning, was in awe at the fall color, and now appreciate the Amish community and their persistence and simplicity in all things, it sure is great to be back in the North Georgia mountains!
There truly is no place like home.
