First, a few housekeeping items:
Heather: you are forgiven. DON'T let it happen again. ;)
Eun and Ben: I'm coming to KSU on Wednesday, Feb. 25th for the 2nd half of my STAR teacher conference; will you two be around?
Tucker: Make sure you always LOG OUT of public computers here on campus. Desperate, stupid people are just dying to get into other people's lives and wreak havoc. It didn't bother me a bit; however, it is the first time in the history of my blog--or any communication for that matter that I have w/ students--that someone has said negative things against me. Kinda silly.
Joe: I'll buy a ticket from you if you can convince Jon that we need another one. :)
Stephanie: Jury duty?!? How was that experience?
Ok, now.
I have come to the realization that the world keeps spinning and the clock keeps ticking no matter what I think about everything. lol Life has been...busy. Forty freshmen, 10 AP kids, 30-50 papers per week, college kids in and out every weekend or two, distributing magazines around town (new job #4!!!), 10-12 hours per week at MEC tutoring my group of girls, just today accepted an offer to score the North Carolina 10th grade writing exam in March/April (through Pearson, job #3!!), soccer's about to start back up for Jon, BILLS BILLS BILLS!, company from out of town, new furniture for the living room, logs for the fireplace (FINALLY), an average of 75 texts and 40 emails per day, trying to refinance our mortgage to lower our house pmt. $400+ per month, ROCK BAND SATURDAYS!!, supper w/the Duncan's--our neighbors--every Sunday, AWANA Sunday night, senior recommendation letters, keeping the class agenda up-to-date, TRYING to take care of myself by taking vitamins and losing weight (WHAT A STRUGGLE!), cleaning the house, keeping my room at school neat. And, I still have to finish doing our taxes!
Whew. I took the day off yesterday and it seems like I created even more stuff to do. Oh well, c'est la vie.
As for the title of this blog, it's dedicated to Leslie. She left today at 10am for Army basic training. Her presence will be greatly missed around our house and the Duncan's. Love ya, Les!
Wow. I just spent 30 minutes of my planning writing all this. Hooray for time spent venting about life's whirlwind of activity. :)

We will be in Kennesaw for sure but we have school until 4:45. Monday and Wednesdays are our late classes and Tuesday and Thursday we get out at 10:45 in the morning and done for the day :) If you are around in the area for a while, give us a call around 4:45 and I am sure we can go see you or you can come see us.
Til then~
so what is heather forgiven for? and btw, thanks for considering my tickets, I havent sold any yet! gosh i miss english!
I think you should take losing weight off your list.
You look fine.
:)
jury duty was fine; except i was really sick and barely remember it. in fact, i couldn't speak at all and was not picked. i'm pretty sure i heard the judge tell the lawyers not to pick someone because "it's a shame...sick..don't pick..." which was perfectly fine with me...
a horrible accident, though, occured because of my summons (which i got on my birthday). i was walking through my house when my stepdad mentioned jury duty. i fell, twisted my ankle, skinned my knees, and nearly bashed my head on a door frame. it's all good...
