I cannot believe it is almost Christmas. Again. Wasn't that holiday just, like, yesterday??
First, though, comes Thanksgiving. Can't wait for some yummy turkey or ham and all the 'fixins at Jenette's. :) Of course, then the obligatory nap that must follow courtesy of the triptophan (sp?) in the turkey. :)
I feel like my house hasn't been clean since the beginning of the summer. Yeah, just thought I'd throw that in here. I haven't actually mopped my floors in four weeks. FOUR WEEKS. That's unheard of for me. I guess this has something to do with the fact that I'm never home. And when I am, there's always two or three people besides Jon and me padding around the house, playing Wii, checking out what's in the fridge, or just plain hanging out. Don't get me wrong, I love the company. It's been a valuable and refreshing lesson learning how to care more about being with the people you love and having fun instead of worrying about how clean your floors look. See, I'm slowly but surely saying goodbye to my compulsive tendencies. Kinda.
But, people still come over and can't even tell I have two inside cats, unless Lilo and Stitch come stalking out of the bedroom, of course. So there. Ha.
PS--Casie; I still plan on coming to see you sometime in the next millennium. Between day school, night school, and the possibility of Jon's job taking a nose-dive at the beginning of the year, it's been a struggle to keep up lately. I work constantly. But I haven't forgotten about ya, and the possibility of a weekend of relaxation. Promise. Maybe when the holiday rush is over. I'll be in touch. :)

How much does it gross you out to know that I chose my kitchen tile and grout based on what textures and colors show dirt the least b/c I hate mopping and therefore rarely do it? :)
I very much look forward to your eventual visit.
I haven't decided if I will do a ham along with a turkey... what do you think? It doesn't seem like thanksgiving without both...
