OK, I admit it...

I have totally been an Olympics junkie these past few weeks. Who can blame me? Between Phelps winning as many medals as a small nation, the Chinese "women" gymnasts who look like they're 10, and our own awesome USA gymnastics team, I've been totally mesmerized.

And I did watch badminton at 3am one morning. Who knew THAT was an Olympic sport??

Time to grade some papers...

phelps is insane. he's ADHD and carbo-loads like mad. it's no wonder that, like angela said, the ancient spectators thought of olympic atheletes as demi-gods. it's amazing what these people can do. and with all the advancements with the swimmers' suits and with the deeper/wider pool (means less waves to slow them down), the swimmers are breaking records left and right...completely shattering them. it's truly amazing.

I love Michael Phelps.

I actually had to a report on Olympic badminton in 6th grade English.

The Olympic men badminton players can get the birdie going up to over 100 mph.

BA.

Women can get it over 90 mph.

T_T I missed the olympic soccer. I'm so sad. I love soccer!!!

There's a whole big conspiracy going on with the "women's" gymnastic team from china. One of them was known to be only thirteen (the minimum age is 16) but the chinese government had the webpost proving it taken down... It was a news post. good ol' america and freedom of speech.

hey Krieg,

I went to a circle K meeting today (you know, the college level kiwanis thing) and we were talking about getting together with the key club. So, because we're tight and all, I was volunteered to see if you guys wanted to come to the kiwanis picnic at meeks park on Monday at six pm. uh... if you all decide that you want to go, just tell Charlie Crick (sp?) so that he knows how many people to plan on.

yep, later
