Live, from Houston-Bush Airport, it's.....

...yeah, so I'm sittin' here in on the ground propped up against a window, watchin' an older lady from Guam be helped out by EMTs because she can't breathe. And she doesn't speak English, either. That's right folks, I'm at the Houston airport, where approx. four hours ago, myself and about 250 others boarded a 767, and then promptly were told to get back off w/our belongings due to mechanical difficulties with our plane. Better late than never be told, I guess???

So we've sat here, walked around aimlessly, ate free lunch at Panda Express courtesy of Continental Airlines, and have just now been informed that our plane will be fixed ("tentatively") by 8:45pm, which puts us in Honolulu just before midnight their time. That's a WHOLE DAY of our trip wasted, down the drain, GONE. I'm not happy.

What exciting things have I been doing all this time, you ask? Well, hmmm, let's see...I've sent/received about 60 texts, read from cover to cover the June issues of both Glamour and Vogue, called the school (no one answered b/c it's Memorial Day), entered EOCT grades and figured out all the 9th honors final grades, bought some lotion and Shea butter at L'Occitane, typed four emails, and finally, now, am catching up on my blogging. Thank goodness for internet for $7.95/day (and ipods). Normally, I would never splurge on such a waste, but today's worth it since WE HAVE A WHOLE 'NOTHER SIX HOURS TO GO. Blarg (as Dakota says).

BOO CRAPPY AIRPLANE!

I'm goin' to Starbucks.

That has got to be one of the most depressing things I've ever read. =/ I hate when things don't go the way they were planned. It always seems to happen on super important/exciting days.
But hey, I guess the airline has left you with a pretty good story, eh? When you're older and you're teling stories from your trip, you can include that... I guess? I'm sure it will be really funny later.
:D
