All is well...

...in the world of Harry Potter. I can breathe a sigh of relief now. What an awesome story line! I laughed, I cried, I felt pangs of guilt and remorse over Snape's predicament. His final role in Harry's quest seemed to be the "je-ne-sais-quoi" of the entire series. And in the end, I think Rowling seemed to put a neat little bow around her grand package to the literary world. Well done.

There are so many things to say, but, alas, the new school year is encroaching upon me, and I have syllabi to type, sample papers to create for AP Language, schedules to look up, etc., etc., so I'm off!

Thanks for not spoiling book #7 much. I'm 300 pages though The Half Blood Prince, and I am digging Voldemort's history that Dumbledore is teaching Harry. I'm going to get a copy of #7 ASAP so I can roll right into it.

Now I can actually post my opinion of Movie #5. It did well to compress that much stuff into a watchable movie, and by all means, a very good movie. One movie complaint, though: I really liked that it was actually Cho's friend who ratted the D.A. out in the book, as opposed to Cho herself in the film. Even though she's a mood-swinging, can't make up her mind, emo chica, I still can't help but liking her. Reminds me of a certain co-worker of mine... But I digress...

Ehhhhh...The last book was too slow until about the middle for me, and I wasn't overly fond of the ending. Far too predictable, but it's really the only way it could've ended. Oh well.
