That title's for you, Eun. :D
Ok, I have a small gripe. Church marquee signs. Now, again, before I go on, I am NOT trying to be all "anti-establishment" nor am I questioning any practice of my church. But, as I was leaving my church last night, I noticed our sign. It said:
"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
Beautiful quote. A refreshing change from the corny ones you see. Here are a few favorites:
Free Trip to heaven. Details Inside!
Try our Sundays. They are better than Baskin-Robbins.
Searching for a new look? Have your faith lifted here!
Have trouble sleeping? We have sermons - come hear one!
Sign broken. Message inside this Sunday.
Fight truth decay - study the Bible daily.
How will you spend eternity - Smoking or Non-smoking?
Dusty Bibles lead to Dirty Lives:
This is a ch_ _ ch. What is missing? --------- (U R)
Forbidden fruit creates many jams.
The issue, then, you ask? The quote on our sign was said by Ghandhi. Was his name attributed to the quote? Nope. I don't know; it just bugs me. Ghandhi, though not a Christian, was a great man, a humanitarian, a great speaker. Give credit where credit is due.
Thoughts? Am I way off base here?
That is all.

Spring, where are you?
So it snowed yesterday. Big flakes for about 30 minutes. This time last week it was 70 degrees by the afternoon. Springtime is flirting dangerously with our senses.
I just can't think of anything interesting to write a blog about at this time. Classes are great, home is great. We're building a flagstone sidewalk outside the house. NYC trip next week. Oh! Jon and I are going to Hawaii the last week of May! I found the trip for an awesome price; five nights at the Waikiki Marriott plus airfare. Finally some warm sunshine to look forward to!!
Hopefully something post-worthy will enter my brain within the next week or so. Adieu til then!

Robitussin, Z-packs, and Lortab...these are a few of my favorite things...
Ugh. Being sick sucks. Especially when you're sick for two weeks solid. Ugh.
I think you're right, Casie. My respiratory system IS out to get me. Like a little tricksy hobbit. Yeah, that's the medicine talking.
Oh, and BTW, Casie, this template is one of the standard ones you can choose from under the Blogger "Templates" tab. All I did was change the fonts and colors in the "Customize" tab. Hope that makes sense, and sorry for not answering this in my email. I knew there was something I was forgetting. Meds, again... :P
I coughed and sneezed so hard this past weekend that I pinched a nerve in my back. No joke. Hence, the Lortab. Which I DO NOT take during the day. I don't wanna risk being all drugged up in front of the kiddies, ya know.
Next week should be interesting at 'ole UCHS. The GAPSS team for school accreditation will be on campus for three days next week. Oh joy. Time for the dog and pony shows. :/
That's about all from here.
