Cold Chills, part deux...

...and this time it's the weather! Snow in the forecast again. Hope it's not another perfectly good waste of snow like yesterday, when the rain washed it all away by 7am. Ahh, I love days off, but pretty soon we're gonna be saying "bye-bye" to Spring break. Not good.

New semester, new kids. Pretty good groups. 9th graders in honors are on top of it as of now, but we'll see if they stand the test of time. AP is fun and this group's dynamics are different from 1st semester, but in a good way. 12II is goofy, what with Austin and Garrick. At least they pay attention and do what I ask them to.

Looking forward to the Key Club benefit concert tomorrow. Hope we have a good turnout.

Cold Chills...

...and not from the weather, either.

This Meredith Emerson (the missing hiker whose body they found yesterday evening) case is creepy. The Hilton guy who kidnapped/killed her has been seen in this area by numerous residents of Union Co. in the recent past. Plus, I've hiked the trail where she was kidnapped MANY times; by myself, in some instances. I've even been to trails in the area of Dawson Co. where her body was found. !!

I pray Emerson's family and friends will find some peace in this terrible situation AND that justice will be swift in the case against Hilton. Who knows who else he's killed!!...
